Ok, due to a random series of events I recently took interest in the character Koschei the Immortal from Russian myth. I decided to read some of the stories about him and found that there is not a lot of Russian myth translated into english. Which is sad really. So I found the stories in Russian and had google translate it for me.

Ever heard of the game Zero Wing? Maybe you haven't but I bet you know the famous lines from it. It was a game translated from Japanese to English by a computer resulting in the famous words "All your base are belong to us!" "For great Justice!" and "You know what you doing may cost every Zig." Apparently this was not just an isolated event. The following was a couple of sentences from the climax of the story...

Finally Ivan Tsarevich out, seem egg and said: "Here, the Immortal Kosh, thy death!" Toth at the knees against him and said: "Not me Bay, Ivan Tsarevich, will live together, we will have conquered the entire world." Ivan Tsarevich not glad his words, crushed testicle - and the Immortal Cosh died.

Yeah its pretty incomprehensible. I think I have a vague idea of what is going on though Koschei the Immortal cannot be killed by damage to his body (not even through a direct hit to the boys although this translation seems to suggest otherwise...) To kill him you have to destroy a needle that his soul is bound in, the needle is in an egg, the egg is in a duck, the duck is in a rabbit, the rabbit is in a stone chest, the stone chest is under a tree, the tree is on a mystical island that can apparently disappear. Needless to say "the Immortal" isn't a terribly misleading name. Anywho... the closest guess I have here is that they dropped the last piece, that is the needle, and the hero Ivan just had to destroy the egg. ...and somehow the algorithm decided that the best translation for egg was testicles.

Well hopefully my completely pointless story was to your amusement and maybe you'll find your own humorous stories with the wonder language barrier.
